LIBO warmly congratulates KraveBeauty on Plumptuous Lip Jelly winning Best Plumping Lip Jelly, along with the Most Innovative recognition, at the Beauty & Wellness Awards 2026 hosted by Beauty Insider Singapore.

The awards are selected by a panel of judges together with Singapore readers. As KraveBeauty’s first makeup product, Plumptuous Lip Jelly carries the brand’s skincare-first approach into lip care. The formula features upcycled plum oil and 1% MaxiLip, delivering a hydrating, non-sticky feel with a natural plumping effect and a sheer, juicy tint.

Notably, the official judging comments praise more than the formula. They also highlight the packaging, reflecting the brand’s attention to function, user experience and sustainability.

Skincare-minded packaging: a metal lip applicator and a refillable design

LIBO is honoured to have been part of the packaging development and manufacturing for Plumptuous Lip Jelly. The two features mentioned in the judges’ comments, the metal applicator and the refillable design, are central to the pack.

• Cooling metal lip applicator: The metal tip feels cool and smooth against the lips, so the application itself becomes part of the care routine, not just the formula.
• Refillable packaging: After use, customers simply swap in a new refill and keep the original tube and metal applicator. According to KraveBeauty, choosing the refill over a full new pack reduces plastic use by about 76%.

Together, these details make the packaging more than a container. It becomes part of the everyday experience, and it shows how skincare and makeup can meet in a product that balances function, sensory feel and sustainability.

From concept to mass production: LIBO’s integrated packaging development

LIBO operates its own factory with an in-house design and R&D team, handling product design, structural development, mold making, material selection and surface finishing all in house. This all-in-house approach lets us communicate faster and adjust more flexibly when developing packaging that has to balance feel, structure and quality, as with Plumptuous Lip Jelly.

We work with brands in two flexible ways:

• Custom molds: For brands with a distinctive idea, we develop an exclusive structure and shape from scratch, giving the product its own identity.
• Stock molds: With our own mold warehouse, we offer around 1,000 stock mold designs. This suits brands that want a shorter development timeline and lower tooling costs, while still shaping their own look through materials, colours and finishes.
